On Saturday, July 19th, St. Ann hosted a retreat for Lectors, Eucharistic Ministers, and parishioners. Our guest speaker was Father Thomas Ebong from Columbia, South Carolina. We were blessed to welcome over 45 parishioners from Our Lady of Hope, St. Mary’s, and St. Ann's. Father Tom shared heartfelt stories from his childhood and powerful testimonies of divine encounters with the Holy Spirit during times of illness. His uplifting message encouraged us to reflect on our own lives and deepen our understanding of the Eucharist. He also spoke about Eucharistic miracles that affirm the Real Presence of Jesus Christ—body and blood—in the Eucharist. It was a true blessing to be reminded by Father Thomas of the sacred gift we receive each time we partake in Holy Communion.
